All Babylab products are exclusively handcrafted for us in small batches and tinted to order by our production team at our sister company, The Lab Chemicals & Coatings.

We highly recommend using our primer if applying over bare substrates or heavily sanded surfaces. We also recommend a primer if painting over a higher gloss finish, a darker colour, or applying an accent colour.
Customer Support
Customer support is available from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Although orders are processed more quickly when placed online, we do take phone orders as well. Orders placed over the phone cannot be expedited quicker than those available online.
Shipping
We ship nationwide via courier.
Standard shipping is between 2 – 5 days depending on product availability.
Cost of shipping starts from R120 depending on the weight.
Yes, you will receive a tracking number once your order is shipped.
Deliveries should be refused if there is considerable damage to the box upon receipt.
When damage occurs in transit, that is not visible upon receipt, we will evaluate the extent of the damage to determine if it falls within the parameters to initiate a claim with the courier.
Paint leakage does not qualify as damaged product.
Ordering
Babylab Paints are sold online via our website, and through some online retail partners. We do not have physical retail locations.
Yes, we offer FREE colour matching to other paint manufacturers' colours. Please contact us to order a custom colour.
The easiest way to calculate how much paint you need is to use our Coverage Calculator.
When using the Coverage Calculator, make sure to select the product you intend to apply, because different products have different coverage rates. Once you have input the product, add the room dimensions minus the areas not being painted (doors and windows). The Coverage Calculator will indicate the volume of product required for the recommended number of coats.
Payment
We accept all major credit/debit cards. All card transactions are secure and encrypted.
We also accept payment via EFT. For payment by EFT please contact us for a invoice, orders will ship once payment has cleared.
